BIOS- 2025 PTO ELECTION NOMINEES
Katherine Troutman (President Nominee)
Most of your children think I teach at the school (I don’t) and know my 4yr old mini-me (Charleigh Kate) who tags along on most of my AWE volunteer adventures. Grown-Ups have probably seen me with my camera capturing memories and think I work for the school (I don’t). But I love being a part of the AWE PTO creating positive school related memories and enhancing a student’s sense of community and belonging, for my 2nd and 3rd grader, and for all students.
Tanya Broome (Co-VP Nominee)
Tanya, 47, known allergies: adhesive bandages, likes coffee but not coffee flavored treats. Oh, I have some kids.
Bettina Fuller (Co-VP Nominee)
I’m a stay-at-home mom to two amazing kids—a one-year-old and a seven-year-old enrolled in the Dual immersion Spanish Program. I’m a former teacher turned wellness coach, passionate about supporting others and building strong, connected communities. My husband is a dedicated special education teacher, athletic director, and coach at Graham Middle School, and together we’re committed to making a positive impact both at home and in the lives of those around us.
Queasy Battle (Secretary)
Schquita “Queasy” Battle is a loving wife, mom of two, and somehow still finds time to breathe. She graduated from North Carolina Central University and earned her Master’s from Liberty University—proving she can survive both toddlers and term papers. She eats, sleeps, and cheers (literally) as the head cheerleading coach at Eastern Alamance High School. When she’s not leading chants, she’s leading youth at her church—and yes, she needs a nap.
Mariam Lopez Rosales (Treasurer)
Really interested in being more involved with the school, super outgoing and all hands on deck!
